Walk in Clinic
This evening we spent a few quality hours in the only walk in clinic I could find open at 6pm at night after Andrew and Nathan decided that it would be fun to climb on the kitchen table and jump off while I was making dinner. I told them to stop but Andrew had to get one more in and as he was climbing from the chair to the table the table cloth that was on the table slipped and Andrew went off the table head first onto the tile. OUCH! He got a nice quick bump on the top front of his head and after talking it over with Brian we decided that we should take him to be looked at so Brian stayed home and had dinner with Nathan and Andrew and I went to the walk in Clinic. He seemed to be fine but we needed to make sure since it was bed time. After waiting we finally saw a woman that I don't think was an actually MD but she looked at him gave me a paper on head injuries, told me to wake him every two hours and then we were on our way home. So Andrew and I slept together that night so I could check on him but he ended up being just fine. Turns out that part and the back of your head our the toughest spots so it was good he didn't hit the side that really sloshes the brain around. I have of course kept the paper of what to do and what to look for because I know that this will not be our last head injury.
