Nathan's week in Jackson
With Thanksgiving and the boys birthday party over Noni offered to take one of the Kids to Jackson with her for a few days Since Andrew was trying to get over a double ear infection we thought that this time Nathan would be the best one to go to Jackson. So off he went with Noni and Papa where for five days he got to do what ever he pleased he had milkshakes, followed papa around in the yard, and walked around the house with scissors cutting paper, boy does he love to cut. Andrew and I had a great time hanging out one on one and were going to go pick up Nathan on Thursday but Papa had to come back to Redding for some business and brought him home Friday. The night before they were going to go home Papa told Nate he was coming home and he had a fit. guess life is hard on the home front. Once he was home he didn't have any trouble settling in. Next time its Andrew's turn.

Thanksgiving
We had a nice Thanksgiving this year with everyone in attendance except (Morgan, Jessica & Marc because poor Morgie had hand, foot & mouth)at Nana & Grandpa's house.
Thanksgiving was great but unfortunately Great Grandpa got ill that night. So when he was still sick the next morning we decided to take him to the hospital. As Noni was leaving with great grandpa Nate helped walk him out and was asked why Grandpa was sick Noni told him from eating to much turkey and Nate then replied or having to much wine. As they then had grandpa in the car they forgot the bucket he was using and asked us to bring it to them Nate then asked what is the bucket for? Daddy told him it was for presents and Nate then replied is that for Grandpa's turkey? Oh Nate there is no putting one past you.

Happy Halloween
This year we got two wonderful costumes from your good pal Jett. So you were nice and warm on that rainy night as a lion and a Dinosaur. Morgan, Marc and Jessica came over for Pizza before we hit the streets and Grandma D can over and passed out candy while we were out. Not a lot of trick or treaters this year with the rain.

BBQ
So we had a little scare tonight that I'm sure we will remember with a smell I don't think I will ever forget. The kids were playing out back before dinner as they normally do. They came in we ate had baths and we were getting settled in and I kept noticing a smell that almost smelled like over cooked broccoli. I thought the neighbors were just cooking up something an hour later it seemed really strong so I asked Brian what it was he said he had just gone outside because he smelt it too and the propane tank was on and the knobs on the BBQ were turned on. Turns out we almost had a very big disaster. We guess it was on for almost two hours and it sits right outside the window to the kitchen. Being as Propane is thicker than air it actually had become very thick in the house and very flammable thank god we were not cooking on the gas stove inside. It has taken an hour but we think the house is almost all clear now and that it is safe to let the kids go to sleep. Scary... Now where are we going to put the propane tank?
