Back Gate

So it might sound mean but it is for pure safety reasons that we have many locks and chains around the house. We out grew child gates at about 2 years old(climbing had been perfected). These locks usually show up after the fact of something happening.

On this particular day the boys were playing in the back yard doing there thing and again I had just gotten out of the shower, I heard something going on by the gate on the side of the house so I leaned outside and called for them as the front door bell rang and I saw one of the kids running away. THEY WERE IN THE FRONT YARD! WHAT! Luckily they had just gotten there. So I got them back in the back yard closed the gate and ask them how they got out. Nate of course said " I used a stick and pushed the latch up and Andrew pulled the door open." Such nice team work. and that is how we now have a combination pad lock on the back gate.

Trash comes at our house on Fridays so on Thursday afternoon I put the trash in the front yard and left the lock hanging on the fence but did not lock it( really because I can't remember the combo) because I was going to move the trash back in the next morning and re-lock it so there was no need. Sure enough that afternoon no lock on the gate, but an upside down big five gallon

bucket next to the fence. Luckily they knew just where they put it and now it stays locked even on trash day.

Fourth of July

Another wonderful Fourth at the Sundance lodge on the river in Castella. Thanks to Donna and Warren aka Grandma & Grandpa introducing us to the Mt. Shasta walk/run we are celebrating our 11th year of walking ( think we ran once , Brian maybe a couple times) We do have big dreams to someday have the boys run the 2 mile kids run with us someday. After the run we had our friends over to play and BBQ. The Harbours, Beasley's, Heath's, Davis's, Noni & Papa, Great Grandpa and some of Grandma & Grandpa's friends came over.

Swimming Lessons

We have spent the month of June swimming and now you both can swim thanks to Phoebe. We did two weeks of swimming lessons at Auntie Jessica's moms pool with Morgie, Owen, Jett & Stetson. and two weeks with Max, Brooklyn & Elle,Joe & Sydney at there Nana's house. So nice of all of them to let us join and use there pool.
