Tahoe with the Telegans

We spent a wonderful week in Tahoe, still celebrating Noni's 60th Birthday from January. We rode ski lifts, went roller skating, rode bikes and played in the Lake.

Fourth of July with the Downey's

We spent the Fourth of July in our favorite spot Mt. Shasta. well really in the town of Castella where Brian's parents rent a wonderful house on the river. This was the boys 4th Mt. Shasta walk. They haven't missed a year. and Brian and I's 12th(or 13th) year. It has become such a wonderful family tradition. We always do the 2 mile walk and this year the boys walked almost the whole thing and I actually ran it with Avery and Charlie Harbour. The thing with running was I didn't get to go with the rest of the family so once I finished running I went back to join the boys who were walking with Brian, Noni, Papa, Marc, Jess, Morgie & Taylor.

After the walk we have a wonderful BBQ back at the house. This year the Beasley's, Heaths, Davis's, Shoffner's, Noni, Papa & Great Grandpa Berini and some of Grandma and Grandpa's friends joined us for the party. With all the activities that happen all day long we have yet to take the kids to the fireworks in the evening. This next year I think that will have to change because this year they were asking about them and disappointed they didn't get to see them.

2nd Cousins

Got a visit from my Uncle Dave (mom's brother), Cousin Tony (Dave's son) and his Kids Anjolina and Gianni. They live in the Bay Area not to far away but sometimes life gets busy and time passes so fast that it has been years since you have seen each other. It had been years. I actually had never even meet Gianni (he is 4. December baby just like the boys) We had a great time. The kids meet for the first time too. We went to Turtle Bay and just played in the back yard. It was a short visit as they were headed to Mt. Shasta to Visit Great Grandpa. We hope they come back again to visit soon.

Beamans 3rd annual camping trip

Spent another wonderful camping weekend at Lake Siskiyou with the Beasley's. I once again designed shirts for us. We really like the orange so we decided to stick with it. This year I did save myself the anguish of ironing on the shirts. we paid someone. The shirts read..The Beamans.. with a marshmallow that is running and on fire. Under the marshmallow it reads. 6 kids, 4 adults and a campsite. Anything can happen.

We stayed in campsite 154. and the site behind us was empty which was great for the kids to ride there bikes on. The site had everything we needed, close to bathrooms and the little swing set. We roasted marshmallows, told knock knock jokes(JT brought a book and read some jokes and then the little ones got in on the fun making up there on jokes, it was priceless), got really dirty and had an all around wonderful time. Brooklyn lost her first tooth while eating corn on the cob and the tooth fairy found us that night. It's amazing how in three years how much the kids have changed and how much fun it is and easier it has gotten.

End of Pre-school party

The kids have finished there first year of pre-school at Shasta College. They had an end of school party at a nice little park. All the parents brought snacks and they gave the kids a class picture. The year went by so fast.
