Giant's Game

The boys got to go to there first Professional Baseball game today. Thanks to daddy's friend at work Steve who gave us free tickets. We made it a day trip. Hopped in the car around 8am got to the stadium in SF around noon. Took the kids through the ball park to see everything. Got them a licorice rope and some peanuts and found our seats. Once we were settled in daddy went and got us hot dogs and soda( the boys never get soda, and it was actually just 7up they have never had real soda). I think the boys managed to stay in there seats for 3 innings and then daddy took them for a walk because it was 12 degrees hotter than we thought it was going to be and we all had jeans on so sitting in the sun was hard. So mommy sat and watched the game with all our stuff for another three innings until they finally came back. We sat for an inning maybe and decided it was time to go. We went to the slides stood in line forever and the kids went down and then we left. So we didn't make it through the whole game. But we listened to the last innings in the car and the Giants Won! We all had a great time and I hope we can make it an annual event.

First Day of Preschool at Grant

Today we started a new school. The boys adjusted great. really there was no adjustment at all they went right in and sent me on my way like it was old hat. They are going to Grant Pre-K program this year because we would like them to attend school at Grant(it is a K-8th) and we are out of the district.

.
This is a picture of them jumping right in and playing with their friend Jonathan from Shasta College Pre-school.

Tahoe with the Telegans

We spent a wonderful week in Tahoe, still celebrating Noni's 60th Birthday from January. We rode ski lifts, went roller skating, rode bikes and played in the Lake.

Fourth of July with the Downey's

We spent the Fourth of July in our favorite spot Mt. Shasta. well really in the town of Castella where Brian's parents rent a wonderful house on the river. This was the boys 4th Mt. Shasta walk. They haven't missed a year. and Brian and I's 12th(or 13th) year. It has become such a wonderful family tradition. We always do the 2 mile walk and this year the boys walked almost the whole thing and I actually ran it with Avery and Charlie Harbour. The thing with running was I didn't get to go with the rest of the family so once I finished running I went back to join the boys who were walking with Brian, Noni, Papa, Marc, Jess, Morgie & Taylor.

After the walk we have a wonderful BBQ back at the house. This year the Beasley's, Heaths, Davis's, Shoffner's, Noni, Papa & Great Grandpa Berini and some of Grandma and Grandpa's friends joined us for the party. With all the activities that happen all day long we have yet to take the kids to the fireworks in the evening. This next year I think that will have to change because this year they were asking about them and disappointed they didn't get to see them.

2nd Cousins

Got a visit from my Uncle Dave (mom's brother), Cousin Tony (Dave's son) and his Kids Anjolina and Gianni. They live in the Bay Area not to far away but sometimes life gets busy and time passes so fast that it has been years since you have seen each other. It had been years. I actually had never even meet Gianni (he is 4. December baby just like the boys) We had a great time. The kids meet for the first time too. We went to Turtle Bay and just played in the back yard. It was a short visit as they were headed to Mt. Shasta to Visit Great Grandpa. We hope they come back again to visit soon.
