Thanksgiving

This year Thanksgiving was to be hosted at our house with all sides of the family in attendance, but My Grandpa Lou, my mom's dad, the boys Great Grandpa got ill and we Changed our plans. We spent Thanksgiving in Jackson with the Telegan side of the family and were able to see Grandpa one last time before he passed on 11.30.10. Despite the circumstances we had a wonderful Thanksgiving and it was the perfect place to be this Thanksgiving.

In case your wondering about any post titled photo challenge, I love taking pictures and now have been following blogs of photographers for awhile. These photographers have fun photo challenges that I love looking at and I have finally decided to enter them sometimes. In order to enter they like you to link to your blog since this is my only blog (and I can't even keep up on it) now and then you will see a post for a photo challenge I have entered on my kids blog.

Giant's Game

The boys got to go to there first Professional Baseball game today. Thanks to daddy's friend at work Steve who gave us free tickets. We made it a day trip. Hopped in the car around 8am got to the stadium in SF around noon. Took the kids through the ball park to see everything. Got them a licorice rope and some peanuts and found our seats. Once we were settled in daddy went and got us hot dogs and soda( the boys never get soda, and it was actually just 7up they have never had real soda). I think the boys managed to stay in there seats for 3 innings and then daddy took them for a walk because it was 12 degrees hotter than we thought it was going to be and we all had jeans on so sitting in the sun was hard. So mommy sat and watched the game with all our stuff for another three innings until they finally came back. We sat for an inning maybe and decided it was time to go. We went to the slides stood in line forever and the kids went down and then we left. So we didn't make it through the whole game. But we listened to the last innings in the car and the Giants Won! We all had a great time and I hope we can make it an annual event.
